His full name is Alan Eugene Jackson. He is also an American singer and songwriter. He is very famous for writing many of his songs. He is one of the best selling music artists of all time. He was born in 1927 and died in 2000. Alan’s mother’s name is Ruth Musick “Mama Ruth” Jackson. His mother was born in 1930 and died in 2017. Jackson has four older sisters. He is the only son of his parents. His sister’s name is Cathy Jackson Wright, Carol Jackson Glover, Diane Jackson Dawson and Connie Jackson Davis.His childhood was spent in a small house built around his grandfather’s old tools. He is mainly of English descent. Alan began writing music in 1983.

Alan married Dennis Jackson on December 15, 1979. Denise Jackson was Alan’s girlfriend from high school.The couple has three daughters. The names of their beautiful daughters are Mattie Denise Selecman, Alexandra Jane “Ali” and Dani Grace. Denise gave birth to Mattie Denise Selecman on June 19, 1990. On August 23, 1993, Denise gave birth to Alexandra Jane “Ali”. Denise gave birth to Dani Grace on August 28, 1997. In 1998, Denise was separated from Alan for several months. Because of the stress of Alan’s career as well as he was infidelity with Dennis. But after a few months there was a reconciliation between the couple.Singer has referenced his story in many songs.

His “She Likes It Too” and “Remember When,” songs are based on memories of Alan. The song contains fond thoughts of an everlasting love between Dennis and Alan.After the video of these songs, Alan’s wife and three daughters also appear. The couple perform together as a duo called The Rights.Adam co-wrote two songs on Jackson’s What I Do album and sang harmony vocals.


He released his first studio album in 1987 called New Traditional. After that the album Here in the Real World was released in 1990.
