He raced with O’Donovan at the 2021 European Rowing Championships, where he won the gold medal. And in the same year he again won the gold medal at the World Rowing Cup II Regatta in Lucerne. And now representing Ireland at the recently held Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, their pair won the semi-finals of the lightweight double sculls event. Where he set the world’s best time of 6:05:33. He then went on to win the gold medal where he finished ahead of the German and Italian teams. And he has made his Ireland proud by winning the gold medal.
