You all must have known Malala Yousafzai . She is the world’s most famous young woman. This Pakistani Women was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 jointly with Kailash Satyarthi. Taliban militants in Pakistan attempted to kill her because Malala was teaching girls while the Taliban had banned her studies. While returning from school in October 2012, she was shot at in which she was seriously injured. The responsibility of this attack was taken by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TPP) terrorist organization. Later, Malala was treated by the Pakistani government by taking her to Britain, in which she was saved alive. In 2013, 2014 and 2015, Times Magazine included her in the list of 100 most influential women in the world. Today she has become the inspiration of crores of people. In her honor, the United Nations has declared July 12 every year to be celebrated as “Malala Day”. She has also given a speech on the topic “The level of global education” at the headquarters of the United Nations. Everyone stood up and applauded in his honor. The Canadian government has proposed to give them citizenship of their country.

She took her tiny steps on this earth for the first time on 12 July 1997. Her birth place is Mingora, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Malala is currently 24 years old. Her birth sign is cancer. The Taliban did not want girls to study. Malala was opposing it from the beginning. She started writing diaries at the young age of 11. In 2009, she started writing a diary for BBC Urdu under the nickname “Gul Makai”. She described the atrocities of the Taliban with impunity. She started getting threats from this terrorist organization.In the Swat Valley, girls were banned from going to school in 2007, due to which Malala could not go to school for many years. Girls were banned from playing, watching TV. She was attacked on 9 October 2012. When Malala was returning home from the bus, a Taliban terrorist entered the bus wearing a mask.Recognizing Malala, the terrorist opened fire which hit Malala in the head and neck. Two girls named Kainat and Shazia were also injured in this attack. Immediately after the firing, she was airlifted to the Military Hospital in Peshawar. Her operation took a long time of 5 hours. After this attack, there was condemnation of Taliban everywhere. On 15 October 2012, Malala was admitted to “Queen Elizabeth Hospital, London”. After 2 days she came out of coma. Her life was saved. On 3 January 2013, she came out of the hospital after recovering completely. Malala was attacked because she did not accept the fatwa of the terrorists. After treatment, she was saved.


On 19 December 2011, Malala was given the “National Peace Prize” by the Government of Pakistan for promoting peace. The media took her in hand. Government Girls’ Secondary School, Mission Road, was renamed “Malala Yousafzai Government Girls’ Secondary School” to honor her.In 2013, she was awarded the International Children’s Peace Prize by the Kids Rights Organization. n 2013, Malala was awarded the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought by the Euro-Parliament.She has been given this award for playing an important role in the struggle for the right of children to education. The Government of Mexico gave her the Equality Award in 2013. This award is given for fighting against the violation of the right to education due to discrimination in caste, age, gender.In 2013, the United Nations awarded  Yousafzai the Human Rights Award for 2013. This award is given every 5 years to protect human rights. Nelson Mandela and US President Jimmy Carter have received this award. Malala was jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize by philanthropist Kailash Satyarthi on 10 December 2014. She received this award at the young age of just 17 years. She has become the youngest winner to receive this award.
