PV Sindhu BioGraphy : PV Sindhu’s full name is “Pusarla Venkata Sindhu”, who is an Indian professional badminton player. She was the first woman to win an Olympic silver medal for India and she and Saina Nehwal are the only two Indian badminton players to have won an Olympic medal for India. Apart from this, she won silver medal in women’s singles in Commonwealth Games 2018. She went on to win silver medals for India in both the 2017 BWF World Championships and the 2018 BWF World Championships. Not only this, she also won the silver medal for India in the Asian Games 2018, which was held in Indonesia.

PV Sindhu was born on 5 July 1995. Her birth place is Macherla, Andhra Pradesh. Her father’s name is PV Ramana. Her mother’s name is P Vijaya. Her parents were volleyball players. Sindhu was very impressed with badminton player Pullela Gopichand, seeing her, she started playing badminton. Initially, Sindhu took training in badminton from coach Mehboob Ali, she used to train at the stadium of Railway Institute in Secunderabad.

PV Sindhu BioGraphy: PV Sindhu’s first international success came in 2009 in the Sub Junior Asian Badminon Championships held in Colombo where she won a bronze medal. She won the title by defeating Japanese player in the Asia Youth Under 19 Championships held in 2012. In the li ning china masters super series held this year, Sindhu surprised everyone by defeating Jiang Yanjiao of China, the gold medalist of London Olympics. In the Syed Modi Indian Grand Prix held in Lucknow in 2012 itself, she traveled to the final without a match green but sadly lost in the final to Indonesia’s player. In 2005, Sindhu defeated Japan’s player to win the Macao open grand prix gold championship. 2016 was the most special for Sidhu, in January she won the Malaysia Masters title. And in the same year, she won the silver medal in the Olympics held in Rio, Brazil. Sindhu competed with Carolina Marine of Spain in the final match but sadly Sindhu could not win this match.
